In order to cultivate capabilities of young students who can conduct innovative science mission using nano-satellites in ten years, we start a human resource development program for undergraduate students in collaboration between Kyushu Institute of Technology and Kyushu University who have enough experiences of CubeSat development and space science researches including space weather study, respectively. The program started in October 2021 with more than 40 students from both Kyutech and Kyushu Univ. The Mission Definition Review (MDR) was held in March 2022, and four main missions were defined, which are (1) precise observation of the geomagnetic perturbations, (2) imaging of the bright aurora using small camera, (3) measurement of the potential of satellite charging, (4) in-orbit experiment of the deployment system for the magnetic sensor. In this paper, we will introduce the current status of the program and discuss the future prospective of the human resource development program in terms of the integration between the science and engineering. |
