| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is give an overview of the Danish Planning Act 1997, which controls retail trade, the relevant regulations and the actual management, and to get useful information for Japanese planning system. a) An overview of the Danish planning system, b) main purposes of the Act concerning retail trade, c) the cases in regional plan and municipal plan, and d) the effects of the Act are firstly summarized. Among several features of the Act, the concepts of ‘weak consumer’ and of ‘social cost’ accompanied by large-scale retail shops, in welfare, environment, healthy economy and so on, are very important in Japanese planning field. Furthermore, it can be said that the virtual and horizontal adjustments system among central and local governments, the transparent public participation system give the basis to put the Act into practice. | |||||||||||||
