In the classes, the pupils were required to design and make wooden street-stalls, ‘Yume-Yatai, and to use them in events in the central city. Analyses of questionnaire after the study reveal that the pupils develop the sense of cooperation and show interests in their town. Based on the analysis, it can be said that the study process and the growth of the pupils’ consciousness are very similar to the process of city vitalization.
