| 内容記述 | This paper reviews various models concerning the emergence of Israel in Canaan, and surveys archaeological evidence to attempt to integrate it with the written texts. Based on the balanced integration without minimizing any of the two, we have reached a current tentative conclusion of the indigenous origin of many Israelites. The combination of components from various models instead of only one may explain the hill country settlement. | |||||
