| 内容記述 | The spectrum of work produced by Rimpa artists from the time of Kôrin through toHôitsu and his followers makes apparent the significance of the copy. The concepts of‘anxiety of influence’ and h o n k a d o r i have informed most analyses. However, inemphasizing the function of the copy as a step in the development of individual artisticstyle, these concepts overlook the social purpose of the practice, as well as the mannerin which copies were used by artists to define a history and tradition for the style. | |||||||
